Fernie is a historic mountain town with its beginnings in 1887. Early in the 1900’s skiing began and today Fernie has become an international ski destination with a charming town and friendly locals. Completely surrounded by the Rocky Mountains, Fernie's scenery is as spectacular as it’s powder snow and endless terrain.
Fernie is located in the southeast corner of British Columbia, in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. Fernie is on Highway 3/Crowsnest Highway and a 3 hour drive from Calgary, 2 hours from Lethbridge.
